What we collect

Account details: full name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, country and a securely hashed password.
Product configuration: your MT5 trading account number, broker and server, used only to prepare and license your EX5. We never request or store your trading password or investor password.
Orders and payments: package, amount, currency, order reference and the payment processor's transaction reference and method. We do not receive or store your mobile-money PIN.
Usage and security data: login sessions, IP address, browser type and EX5 download history.
Support content: messages you send to our support channels and reviews you submit.

How we use it

We use a language-preference cookie for up to one year to remember your English or Kiswahili selection.

We measure public-page visits using a random, first-party browser cookie lasting up to 30 days. Analytics records contain a hashed browser identifier, page path, time and approximate country/city derived locally from the network IP. We do not store raw IP addresses or precise coordinates in analytics or send them to an external geolocation service. These records are kept for up to 90 days and used to understand site traffic. Browsers sending Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals are excluded.

To create and manage your account, orders and licences.
To verify payments and prevent fraud.
To prepare your customer-specific EX5 and protect it from unauthorised use.
To send service notices such as payment confirmations, file-ready notices and expiry reminders.
To provide support, including assisted post-entry review.

Who we share it with

Our authorised payment processor, to process your payment.
Email, hosting and messaging providers that operate the service for us.
Authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

For as long as your account is active, and afterwards only where tax, accounting or other legal obligations require it.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, subject to legal record-keeping obligations, by contacting info@macxtrading.com.

Security

The site uses HTTPS, hashed passwords, role-based access, server-side payment verification, signed payment webhooks and protected download links.
